PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE -- tell us!
As an Innkeeper, there is nothing more disheartening than to walk into a room after a guest has left and find something we have failed to give or do for them. It could be as simple as not enough towels or a light bulb burned out. Or it could be much more significant. (And believe me, it has been.) So please, please, please - tell us! Hopefully, if you do, you won't find your innkeeper to be defensive. You might. It's not too different than at your own home in that we have our "fix it" lists too. We just can't get away for too long not taking care of things. We have guests. That being said, it really does help us to hear from you, if something is broken or missing. We definitely may not know about it. And suggestions are great too. We may or may not be able to do them, but at the very least, it lets us know what our guests are looking for. And that's a good thing. And if it all makes you too uncomfortable, send an email or drop a note. I promise it will be appreciated.
